Justin Langer has been tipped to succeed India's head coach Gary Kirsten, who is expected to resign after the ICC Cricket World Cup.
It could be Cricket Australia's loss. Its failure to offer permanent jobs to all its national team coaches could cost it none other than Australia's batting coach Langer.

"If BCCI thinks I am capable of such a big role, it augurs well for my confidence. I have a lot to give back to the game. Coaching the most popular cricket team in the world would be great," a Mumbai-based paper quoted Langer.

Langer, however, refused to acknowledge the report, including the "Yes I would" reply to the question of whether he would be interested.
